This isn’t just your average trip. It’s a chance to expand your worldview, laugh with new friends under star-studded skies, and feel profoundly alive in places that few travelers will ever see.
Why Pakistan?

Are you ready to discover the truth for yourself?
Pakistan has the highest concentration of high altitude peaks in the world – more than Nepal and China combined – making it a magnetic destination for adventure travelers and intrepid hikers.
Pakistani food and hospitality are world renowned. Guests to the country are treated like royalty with some of the most diverse foods in the world.
Pakistan is rich in history, ethnicities and the arts. Everywhere you look is full of color, smells, ancient history, and a flurry of languages.

"I've always wanted to go but I was intimidated that it was unsafe especially for women. Pakistan is hands down the most beautiful country I've been to. It's the jaw dropping scenery, kindhearted people and mouth watering food. Although culturally Pakistani society is different to what we are used to, I felt completely safe with the team and got to understand the differences. Prepare for panoramic views, endless snow capped mountains, glaciers and precious gems everywhere. To top it off the guys were phenomenal at organising everything in a country where everything seemed impossible. Couldn't have done it alone. I would go back in a heart beat!"

Crosby is a travel filmmaker, storyteller, and adventure guide who has explored 34 countries across 5 continents, capturing the world through a lens of curiosity and connection. A solo travel and outdoor adventure specialist, she’s hiked 500 miles and lived in the wild for 40 days on the Colorado Trail, motorcycled 3,000+ kilometers across Vietnam (solo), and trekked deep into Patagonia’s wild landscapes. Her travels have taken her freediving in the cenotes of Mexico’s Yucatán, road-tripping across Namibia’s remote deserts, living full-time in an RV across the U.S., and backpacking solo through Mexico for six months — all while building a thriving career as a travel filmmaker on YouTube and Instagram.
Crosby’s work celebrates the beauty of intentional travel — the kind that challenges, connects, and transforms. Through her storytelling, she invites others to explore beyond the surface, seek the human side of every journey, and discover just how big (and welcoming) the world truly is.

Frequently Asked Questions
& cultural norms:
-
Pakistan's portrayal in the media often overlooks the complexity and diversity of the country. Beyond the headlines lies a nation and a people known for their kindness, generosity, and resilience. While there are unsafe areas in Pakistan that we will avoid, the northern regions we visit are peaceful, welcoming, and incredibly safe for travelers. Our local partners, Ready For Road, have been running trips here for years and work directly with trusted drivers, guides, and accommodations. We’ll have security, paperwork and escorts where required, and you’ll feel supported and secure every step of the way.
-
Absolutely. Many solo female travelers have joined this trip and felt completely comfortable, and you’ll be traveling with an experienced team who prioritize your safety and comfort at all times. To respect their Islamic faith, we will wear a head scarves in mosques and dress conservatively throughout the trip.
-
Public displays of affection are frowned upon.
Alcohol is illegal (but we will still have ways of socializing with some secret clubs and hillside moonshine!)
Guns are common with security.
Modest clothing is expected, especially in rural or religious areas.
Patience is key; things often run late on trips like this.
People will ask you for photos. You can politely decline if you wish. You will get asked a lot!
-
Nope – moderate fitness is plenty. The hikes are accessible for most people who can handle walking for several hours in potentially hot temperatures, long journeys by bus or train, and fairly long days. You will always have the option to opt out of longer hikes if needed, and our local guides are always there to help.
-
A mix of cozy hotels, rustic cabins, guesthouses, and authentic local homestays. It’s part of what makes the experience so special — waking up to mountain views one night and sharing dinner in a family home the next.
-
We keep our groups small and personal — typically between 12–15 travelers. It’s the sweet spot for forming real connections without feeling like you’re on a tour bus.
-
We’re excited to be partnering with Ready For Road, a travel company based in Pakistan that knows the country’s northern regions inside and out. In cities and towns, yes — but once we head into the mountains, signal becomes limited. Think of it as a chance to truly unplug and be present with all your new travel friends!
-

-
You’ll need to arrange your international flights, visa, travel insurance, and any personal gear or snacks. Everything else — from the mountains to the meals — is taken care of.
